  1. Cleveland can't spend consecutive top 7 picks on cornerbacks, so they ignore the obvious BPA (Peterson)

  2. I think Shurmur, a Reid disciple, saw it work with Lito and Brown. They could do it, but I think they like Jones and would take him regardless.

  3. Brown wasn't a top 7 in the draft pick (and Lito was mid 1st I think)

  4. Titans had a heated discussion including Locker and Fairley, but went with the chalk

  5. Cowboys should, should take Watt, Cam Jordan, or Amukamura here, but gamble on Smith, who will let them down....

  6. Redskins reach, but Shanahan thinks he can make a talented QB successful. Buh-bye Donovan

  7. Way reach by the Skins. I think the Skins honestly try everything they can to trade back. Grab Locker mid-round or go even further and latch on to Ponder, Dalton, or Mallett.

Texans get a little 3-4 DE action. Considered Watt, but not sure he is perfect fit. I like Cam Jordan in that 3-4 DE role.

  8. Vikes can't believe Fairley is there, and Locker is not. Lions have the Prince just waiting for them

  9. That was a slam dunk. Prince is what they need to do. They were torched regularly in the pass game.

  10. This is a little wishful thinking for me - I'd like Liuget as an option for the Giants. I do think they will look at Smith, Liuget, and Watt here.

  11. pouncey to fish - much needed help on interior line as he can go from G to C to G right across the middle. if he anything like his brother, look out!

  12. Take 18 and 19 when you pick.

    I'll do 20 and 21.

  13. I keep seeing Kerrigan to the Jags - who am I to argue

    ReplyDelete
  14. you have angered Belichik! He wanted him!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Chargers and Giants are very happy

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes they are. So are Tampa and KC - both add to the run on D-lineman, both get exactly what they need. Tampa - a pass rusher. KC - versatility.

  17. Colts must pass protect, Solder can do that

    ReplyDelete
  18. Carimi - I couldn't pull the trigger on Jimmy Smith. I think they might, but I couldn't...

  19. officially off the reservation -- shocker!!! dalton to Seattle. 1) he is a winner; 2) he competes (Carroll loves that); 3) bring Hasselbeck back and he can sit for a year or two -- or get Carson Palmer and he can sit for a year or two.

  20. Jimmy Smith never killed anybody. He could key a resurgent defensive backfield for the Ravens

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sherrod is the kind of competent, versatile lineman the Pats like

    ReplyDelete
  22. Brooks Reed for the Bears -- get young on the pass rush. No OT worth the pick here....

  23. Rex Ryan comments: "I'm not worried about Phil's feet, my wife can take care of that. Oh and we will now DEFINITELY win the next 3 Super Bowls"
