Browns select Haden
ReplyDeleteniners swallow hard on CJ Spiller, but can't pass up a prime tackle if you have a shot at one
ReplyDeleteEarl Thomas was also in the conversation for SF, but he'll last to 17 if they want him
ReplyDeletesolid call, if Thomas is there at 17 do you think other teams (Eagles) would look to move up? Would SF like to pick up an extra pick to drop 7 places, where they could conceiveably draft Colt McCoy or Kareem Jackson?
ReplyDeleteyes, I think SF would be receptive. Good chance Eagles can get Earl if they want him (which stinks for me/Giants, since I think he's a playa)
ReplyDeleteI think you'd be disappointed if round 1 turns out that way for the Eagles (even though Jackson is a good player)
ReplyDeletei would be but I can't pull the trigger on a D-lineman. They need to get one of the top safeties and a top 5 cb out of this draft. I like the Ernie Sims pick up today by the Birds. a good young live body at LB that has experience - who would have thunk it?
ReplyDeletedid you give the cowboys Mays as a sick joke? I think they would pass him and go elsewhere - perhaps CB or O-Line (McShay's updated mock has Saffold of Indiana going here).
ReplyDeleteNo joke, but I do hope he busts terribly for Jerrah and the 'boys.
ReplyDeleteI think they'll be intrigued by his AA, and will be unimpressed by the OL talent left (Saffold, Campbell)
Any thought of QB for the Vikings?? Or DT
ReplyDeleteI thought about a QB for Vikes and I thought about a DT, but they need CB/S help and all the best should be gone by the time they come around at bottom of 2nd. What they could get there is a DT - Lamarr Houston or Toruell Troup or maybe Cam Thomas. I think a QB maybe waiting for them in 3rd or 4th -- Dan Lefouvor or Tony Pike seem most likely.

ReplyDeleteI typed, then deleted Lamarr Houston, then Jahvid Best.
ReplyDeleteGiants could really use a space eater, and Joseph has upside
I like Houston a lot. Joseph is a bit raw but the upside is there. At a minimum, he is a space eater.
ReplyDeleteI think NE could make Best a really dangerous weapon
ReplyDeleteI pre-picked my last two - can change if you take either for Dallas/Seattle
ReplyDeletewe are in the clear.
